Every child is individual, and needs to be treated as such. Our Primary Staff pay particular attention to learning styles and personal growth so that each child can flourish.

We want your child to grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. That’s why we provide thoughtful, stimulating activities and enriching experiences that encourage growth and development.

The ethos of our Primary School is an education in, and respect for, the head, the heart and the hands. Respect opens the mind and we help your child understand and appreciate themselves and others.

Wellbeing

רÃÅ¿´»ÆÉ«µÄÈí¼þ Primary’s focus on wellbeing commences at the very beginning of each child’s learning Journey. A strong mental health and wellbeing framework for the formative Primary years is proven to make a positive difference and to nurture happy, balanced kids.

The College has an outstanding reputation for its focus on wellbeing, also known as pastoral care, with a philosophy based on mutual respect and a clear understanding of the rights and responsibilities of each member of the community.

Our Thrive Program (focused on Prep – Year 6) is tailored to our young learners and aims to develop students as happy, well-rounded, confident and motivated learners, with a strong sense of self.

Our community of educators and support Staff are committed to holistic student wellbeing, creating an environment that allows every child to discover their own personal best.

Thrive is guided by four over-arching themes which allow us to explore the essential elements in promoting the health and wellbeing of students during their Primary Years.

  • Understand your identity
  • Create relationships and connections (at school and out of school)
  • Become a confident learner
  • Contribute to our community using your unique abilities.

As students move into the Middle School (Years 7-9), the Link Program builds on their relationships with communication and connection, before they transition into our Senior School Aspire Program.

Flexible Learning Spaces

The design of our learning areas is far removed from that of conventional ‘box-like’ classrooms. Innovations in learning and teaching and the physical environment have grown out of contemporary understanding about children and learning, and from the school’s strongly-held belief that children have a right to the highest quality of social and learning experiences. The learning environment is a diverse and flexible area where learning and design are closely connected.
